Ky-Mani Marley, one of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists was born on Friday, February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a part of the classic film Shottas opposite another singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where the album was released With Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, including Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and Who The Cap Fit remix and Sensimelia. All of these songs contributed to Ky's growing popularity among the younger generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani, along with Praswell as well as Fugees (as members of Avenue) has a cult song by Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in the year 1997.
